Odisha Open University Recruitment 2022: Apply For Academic Consultants, Last Date Jan 25 

The Odisha State Open University (OSOU), Sambalpur has invited online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Academic Consultants in different disciplines.

The academic consultants will be recruited in Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, English, Sociology, Environmental Studies and Psychology disciplines. 

The submission of online application form in the prescribed format which commenced on January 10, 2022 is currently underway. The last date for submission of online application form is January 25, 2022.       

Eligibility Criteria: 

(a) Essential: 1) Master Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. 2) Sound knowledge in working with computers and DTP works. 
(b) Desirable: Sound knowledge in Open and Distance Learning System with experience in writing self-instructional learning material. Experienced candidates will be given preference. 

Terms & Conditions:

The engagement shall be on "Contractual but Full Time" basis, for a period of six months which may be terminated at any time with one month's notice in advance from either side. 

The University may extend the engagement by another six months subject to his/her satisfactory performance. 
The contract period will start from the date of his/her actual joining the University.

Remuneration:

The remuneration shall be as per the University Rule of the University in force from time to time. 

Application Fees: 

Candidates desirous of applying for any position will have to pay Rs 200 for each position he/she is applying for as application cum processing fees, payable online at the time of submitting the application.
