Odisha DHE invites applications from law students for short-term training programme; check stipend

The Department of Higher Education (DHE) has invited applications from law graduates, law students (continuing course) for undergoing a short-term legal training programme. The training would be imparted by the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) society and it will be for a period of six months in the higher education department.

Details

Training will be imparted to the freshers for the legal training programme for the year 2023-24 particularly from law students of a graduation course and enrolled in a reputed law university/ institute of Odisha or applicants who have passed LLB not before 2020.

A maximum of six (4+2) persons will be selected for the training through a selection process to be conducted by SAMS. The duration of the training programme will be six months.

Each trainee will get a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month.

The performance of selected trainees will be reviewed every month and the award of a certificate will be subject to satisfactory performance of the trainee.

The last date to apply is October 20, 2023.
