Odisha Computer Application Centre To Fill Several Vacancies, Invites Applications

The Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) has invited applications for filling up of several vacancies on contractual basis. It has roped in the IIIT in Bhubaneswar to conduct the entire recruitment process on their behalf.

It has invited applications for the positions of Project Associate (Software Project), Project Associate (Infrastructure Project), Technical Assistant (Infrastructure Project) and Senior Executive (Accounts).

Project Associate (Infrastructure Project) (1 Post)

Scale of Pay: Level 10, Cell-1: Rs 44900.00+ applicable DA

Essentials qualification: BCA/BSC (CS/Electronics)/MCA/B-Level

Certification: CCNA/CCNP/ITIL

Experience: Minimum 07 years in maintaining Medium Scale Network Infrastructure & hardware infrastructure preferably in Government & PSU Sector.

Required Skill Set:

- Setting up hardware and install and configure software and drivers including O/S like windows and Linux.

- Maintaining and repair technological equipment (e.g. routers, servers etc) or peripheral devices.

- Installing well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components (Server, IPs etc).

- Managing security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks.

- Performing regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated.

- Troubleshooting system failures and provide solutions to restore functionality.

- Conducting periodic maintenance.

- Should have strong knowledge on trouble shooting problems of server hardware, desktop/laptop, printer, scanners, UPS.

- Should be able to prepare and maintain reports and logs.

- Should be able to impart practical training on hardware troubleshooting.

Project Associate (Software Project) (1 Post)

Scale of Pay: Level10, Cell-1: Rs.44900.00+ applicable D.A

Essential qualification: B.E/ BTech. (CS/IT/ECE/ETC)/ MCA/B-Level/MSC (IT/CS)

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Software Development preferably in Government/PSU Sector.

Skill Requirements:

Programming Skill: Java, dot net, php, angular, python etc.

Operating System Skill: Windows, Linux etc.

Database Skill: Oracle, MS-SQL, My SQL, Prostgre etc.

Data Mining/ Data Warehousing Skill

AI/ML, Big Data analytics

Strong analytical and Problem Solving Skill

High Level written and verbal Communication skill

Ability to work under pressure situation and adhere to tight deadline

Believe in Teamwork and adaptability to situations.

Technical Assistant (Infrastructure Project) (Positions - 4)

Scale of Pay: Level-9, Cell-1: Rs 35400.00 + applicable DA

Essentials qualification: Diploma in Computer Science or Electronics/ BCA/BSC (CS)/MCA/B-Level)

Certification: CCNA/CCNP/ITIL

Experience: Minimum 7 years in maintaining medium scale Network infrastructure & hardware infrastructure preferably in Government/PSU Sector.

Age Limit: Below 45 years (as on 31st August-2021)

Sr. Executive (Accounts) (Positions - 1)

Scale of Pay: Level 10, Cell-1: Rs 44900.00+ applicable DA

Essential qualification: B.Com, CMA/CA (Minimum Inter pass) proficiency in computerized Accounting.

Experience: Minimum 10 years in PSUs/ equivalent organization.Skill Requirements: Accounts finalization, Compliance of Audit, IT & GST, EPF & P.F. Tally, ERP-based Accounts Management and Budgeting.

Age Limit: Below 50 years (as on 31st August 2021)
