Odisha Civil Services Main Exam 2020: OPSC Revises Schedule Of Some Subjects, Check Details

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has changed the programme schedule of some subjects of the upcoming Odisha Civil Services (OCS-2020) main written examination. 

The Commission in its notification dated December 22 informed the candidates who have applied for the OCS 2020 that the written examinations for subjects like Agricultural Engineering Paper-I, Civil Engineering Paper-I, Electrical Engineering Paper-I, Mechanical Engineering Paper-1 and History Paper-II, Psychology Paper-II have been rescheduled. 

"It is for information of all concerned that the OCS (Main) written Examination-2020, for the subjects Agricultural Engineering Paper-I, Civil Engineering Paper-I, Electrical Engineering Paper-I, Mechanical Engineering Paper-1 (Forenoon Session, 09.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon) & History Paper-II, Psychology Paper-II (Afternoon Session, 02.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.) scheduled to be held on 30.01.2022 has now been shifted to 08.02.2022," the commission said in the notice. 

"All other terms and conditions of the previous notice mentioned above will remain unchanged," the notice added. 

The Commission has scheduled to conduct the Odisha Civil Services (Main) Examination-2020 from January 20, 2022 to February 6, 2022 (Except 26.01.2022 & 05.02.2022).

The examination will be held in two sessions. While the forenoon session will start at 9 am and continue till 12 pm, the afternoon session will be conducted between 2 pm and 5 pm. The OPSC had earlier stated that the PwD candidates will be given one hour extra time in each sitting .i.e. from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm. 

The admission certificate and instruction to candidates for the examination will be uploaded on the website of Commission soon. The candidates are required to download their "Admission Certificate" & "Instruction to Candidates" from the website of the Commission at http://opsc.gov.in for admission into the examination center.
