The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has sought the services of the faculties in the rank of Assistant Professor for the evaluation of descriptive papers of the Odisha Civil Service (OCS) examination. 

In a letter, Higher Education Special Secretary Ramakant Nayak has requested the Registrar of all Universities and Principals of Government Degree Colleges to spare the services of the faculties when any requisitions are made by the OPSC. 

“The Odisha Public Service Commission requires the services of faculties of Govt. Degree Colleges/Universities in the rank of Assistant Professor with at least 03 years of teaching experience/ Associate Professors/ Professors in different disciplines for evaluation of descriptive papers of Odisha Civil Service Examination & other similar recruitments having descriptive papers for timely completion of the recruitment process,” Nayak said.

“Evaluation of descriptive papers of OCS examination and other recruitments is a time-bound exercise, which requires services of such faculties for a period of 10/12 working days each,” he added.

The college and varsity authorities have been requested to spare the services of the serving faculties in the rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor in different disciplines when such requisitions are placed before them. 

The authorities have also been asked to provide the list of available serving faculties in different disciplines along with their contact details (Mobile No & e-Mail Id) to the Secretary, OPSC directly for the preparation of the database of examiners and to enable advance planning of evaluation for different recruitment examinations.
