OAVS Recruitment 2022: Online Application Date Revised For 1749 Principal & Teacher Posts, Check Details

The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS), under the School and Mass Education Department, has announced revision in the important dates related to recruitment of Principal and other teaching and non-teaching staff.

The State Project Director of OAVS in a short notice issued on January 6 has stated that important dates for inviting applications for 1749 posts of principals, other teaching and non-teaching staff has been revised due to ‘unavoidable technical problems’. 

As per the revised dates, the online registration of applications, which was earlier supposed to begin on January 6, 2022, will now commence on January 21, 2022. Similarly, the last date for registration and submission of online fee as applicable through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking has been rescheduled to February 22, 2022. 

According to the detailed advertisement released by the OAVS, 1749 posts of Principals, other teaching and non-teaching staff of different disciplines will be filled up in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAVs) across the State and Iconic Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya at Andharua by direct recruitment.

 

Candidates are required to apply online through website www.oav.edu.in at the link available on the site. No other means/mode of submission of applications will be accepted.

Selection Procedure: 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Test (CBT), interview and performance test. The appropriate Committee constituted by State government reserves the right to decide the cut off marks in CBT and interview separately and the criteria for short listing.
