NVS Recruitment 2022:  Apply online for TGT and PGT posts, check if you are eligible

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has invited online applications for recruitment of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) on contract basis for the academic session 2024-25 in JNVs run in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.

As the deadline is near, candidates interested for the post should apply on www.navodaya.gov.in on or before April 26, 2024.

The tentative date for physical interview is May 16.

Age Limit

Upper age limit for all categories of teachers is 50 Years as on July 1, 2024 of the year of engagement. For Ex NVS teachers maximum age limit will be 65 Years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) positions should possess a Degree in the relevant subject, along with B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) or CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) qualification. 

For the PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) positions, candidates should possess a B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and a Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject.

Remuneration

The remuneration offered for the positions are as follows: For PGTs, the monthly remuneration is Rs 35,750 for normal station and Rs 42,250 for hard station. For TGTs, the monthly remuneration is Rs 34,125 for normal station and Rs 40,625 for hard station.

Interview Venue

Interviews will be conducted at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mundali, District Cuttack, Odisha for all subjects except PGTHistory/Commerce, PET (Male & Female), TGT-Art, Librarian, and Vocational Trainers.
