NTPC has come up with a fresh notification seeking applications from experienced professionals as Assistant Officer (Safety) at EO level. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions till August 26, 2022.

Name of Post: Assistant Officer (Safety) - 20 Posts  

Qualification: Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production with at least 60% marks from a recognised University/Institution with a full time Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labor Institute/Institution recognised under the Factories Act/Rules or Engineering Degree in Industrial Safety/Fire and Safety with at least 60% marks from a University/ Institution recognised under the Factories Act/Rules. 

Experience Profile: Minimum 01 year working experience in compliance with safety regulations under the Factories Act. Developing, auditing and Improving safety systems. Promotion of safety consciousness amongst employees and examination of machinery, equipment and building from the safety angle. 

Experience in organising safety training and firefighting would be an added advantage. Post qualification experience in relevant area shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired the Degree in Engineering. 

Upper Age Limit: The maximum age limit to apply for the NTPC jobs is 30 years.

Level of Recruitment: EO Grade Pay Scale for Recruitment - IDA (Rs 30000 -120000)

Application Fee: Candidates have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card, Credit Card). The online payment option will be available in the online application form. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. 

"Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility criteria before paying the registration fee. After applying online, a candidate is required to download the registration slip generated by the system with unique registration number. Copy of registration sip may be retained by the candidate for future reference," the official notification read.
