Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Full-time B.E./B.Tech/AMIE in relevant discipline with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) from an AICTE-approved institution.

Electrical Engineering: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering
• Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Civil Engineering: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Mining Engineering: B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering

Additional Requirement: Valid GATE 2024 score in the respective discipline (e.g., GATE EE for Electrical).

Age Limit:

Maximum 27 years as of February 11, 2025.

Relaxations: SC/ST (+5 years), OBC (+3 years), PwBD (+10 years).

Selection Process

Shortlisting based on GATE 2024 scores and organizational requirements.

Final selection after document verification.

How to Apply

1. Visit careers.ntpc.co.in and register using GATE 2024 details.
2. Upload documents: Class X certificate, PAN, Aadhaar, GATE scorecard, degree, and marksheets.
3. Pay fee (if applicable): ₹300 for General/EWS/OBC; SC/ST/PwBD/XSM/female candidates exempted.
4. Submit and download the confirmation slip.

• Application Fee: Rs 300/- for General/EWS/OBS candidates only. SC/ST/PwBD/XSM and female candidates are exempted.
