NTPC Limited has announced recruitment of assistant law officers through CLAT 2021. The recruitment will be done to fill as many as 10 positions.

"Eligible candidates must have appeared for CLAT-2021 (Common Law Admission Test-2021) Post Graduate programme (conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities). CLAT-2021 Post Graduate programme performance, from among the candidates who apply against this advertisement in NTPC," read the official notification.

NTPC will not consider CLAT score of any other year or score of any other examination. Candidates will have to apply online as submission of application in any other mode will not be accepted.

Education Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent – full-time degree from recognised Indian university/ institute) with minimum 60 per cent marks (55 per cent for SC/PWD candidates). Candidates should be registered with the Bar Council.

Age Limit: The Upper age limit to apply for the NTPC job is 30 years as on the last date of the online application. The deadline for the submission of application forms is January 7, 2022.

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General/ EWS/ OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 300 while SC / ST / PWD/ XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee.

Mode of Fee Payment: Candidates have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card (Rupay debit cards Only) / Credit Card). They also have the option to pay offline- State Bank of India has been authorised to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened account.
