NPCIL announces vacancies in Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant posts, apply before Feb 14

A recent notification has been issued by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) for the recruitment of Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant positions. 

Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official NPCIL website at www.npcil.nic.in. 

The application process is expected to start on January 24, with the deadline for submission set for February 14.

Total Vacancy: 53 posts

• Mechanical: 25 posts

• Electrical: 12 posts

• Electronics: 12 posts

• Physics: 4 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess a Diploma with a minimum of 60% marks in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, duly recognized by the Government of India and the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The engineering diploma must have a duration of three years following SSC/HSC.

Alternatively, candidates with a two-year Diploma through Lateral entry to the second year after HSC, approved by AICTE, are eligible with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Another qualification accepted is B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks, where B.Sc. should have Physics as the principal subject and Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary. B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage is also acceptable.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate must be between 18 years to 25 years as on February 14, 2024.

Selection Process

The assessment process will consist of a combination of a Written Examination and a Personal Interview. The Written Examination may be either OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (CBT).
