Northern Railway brings huge opportunity for Engineers, check eligibility and other details  

Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway has invited applications for the Engagement of Senior Technical Associate (STA) open market, for construction projects on a contract basis.

Interested candidates can fill up the online application form by visiting the official website at www.nr.indianrailways.gov.in.

The application process is underway and the last date to file the application form is August 28.

Northern Railway Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 93 posts

• STA (Civil Engineering): 60 posts

• STA (Electrical Engineering): 20 posts

• STA (Signal & Telecom Engineering): 13 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised Institute/University.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should be between 20 years to 34 years. 

Selection Process

The contractual hiring will be done on the basis of merit. GATE score will be the basis for Senior Technical Associate.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs 100 online through the payment gateway as a part of the online application process. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/Women candidates.

Remuneration

• Z Class: Rs 32,000

• Y Class: Rs 34,000

• X Class: Rs 37,000

The candidate engaged on a contract basis shall be paid a daily allowance, when on tour as admissible, at the rate of Rs. 500/- (0-6 hours – 30%, 6-12 hours 70% & more than 12 hours – 100%). This is similar to the pattern of TA admissible for Railway employees except for the rate of TA.
