NITI Aayog Internship: Big opportunity for Under Graduates, Graduates and Research Scholars
An internship serves as a crucial opportunity for budding professionals to not only hone essential skills but also gain valuable experience that can greatly enhance their careers. Additionally, internships can often lead to job offers or valuable recommendations, which are essential in today's competitive job market.
NITI Aayog opens its doors every month to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as research scholars, for internship opportunities.
The online application portal is open from the 1st to the 10th of each month.
Eligibility for Undergraduate Students: Candidates who have completed or appeared for their end-semester examinations can apply. A minimum of 85% in the Class 12 board exam is required.
Eligibility for Postgraduate Students: Only 1st or 2nd-semester completion/pursuing research/PhD students can apply who have at least 70% marks at graduation level.
Recent Pass-Outs: Those students who have passed out recently from UG/PG degrees and are awaiting admission to higher studies can also apply. The condition is to obtain 70% or more aggregate percentage in all years/semesters till the date of application. In case of declaration of final results, the gap should not have more than six months to the internship desired month.
Internee Period: The internship has a minimum term of six weeks period up to six months duration. The certificate will be issued at the end.
Attendance Norms: A minimum of 75% or more attendance has to be obtained by the internees. And there would be no extension and certificate if the attendance is low
