NIT Warangal announces vacancy of 100 posts, check recruitment details

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal has invited applications for the recruitment of Professors, Associate professors.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website, i.e. nitw.ac.in. The last date for the submission of the application form is January 25.

• Professor: 12

• Associate Professor: 52

• Assistant Professor Grade I (AGP 8000): 13

• Assistant Professor Grade I (AGP 7000): 14

• Assistant Professor Grade II (AGP 6000): 9

Educational Qualification

The Essential Minimum Academic Qualification for the posts is BE/BTech/ME/MTech/BSc/MSc/BCom/MA from a recognised University/Institution.

The candidate should have PhD in relevant discipline. 

Application Fee

• General, OBC and EWS candidates: Rs 1,000

• SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs 500

Age Limit

The upper age limit for candidates applying for r Assistant Professor Grade II with Pay level 10 &11 is 35 years, Assistant Professor Gr.I is 40years, Associate Professor is 45 years and Professor is 50 years. 

Age Relaxation 

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC: 3 years 

• PWD: 10 years 

• Government servants: 5 years

Selection Process

• Written test and/or presentation on teaching and research in the area of their specialisation
