NIT Rourkela announces vacancies for project fellows, check details

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela has issued advertisement for various project fellowships.

As per the NIT Rourkela advertisement, the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be filled up.

NIT Rourkela Vacancy Details

1. Senior Research Fellow: 1 post

Name of the Research Project: Droop-based Co-ordinated Control of a Triple Active Bridge Interlinking Converter for Hybrid Microgrid with EV Charging Facility

Tenure of the Project: 3 years

Tenure of the Assignment: Initial for a period of one year (Extendable to three years upon satisfactory performance)

Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship: Rs 35,000

Essential qualifications and experience: M. Tech. in Electrical Engineering with 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA, along with Institute norms.

Date of Test and/ Interview (Venue – Department of Electrical Engineering NIT, Rourkela)/ online: 21.12.2022 & 22.12.2022.

2. Junior Research Fellow: 1 post

Name of the Research Project: “Multi-functional sprayable hydrogels for prevention of post-surgical abdominal adhesions”

Tenure of the Project: Three Years (2022-2025)

Consolidated monthly compensation /Fellowship: Rs 31,000 (1st & 2nd year) and Rs 35,000 (3rd year)

Essential Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical / Biomedical / Materials science/ Biotechnology) with 1st class in UG and PG degree from a recognized Technical Institute or University. Valid GATE/NET score or any National level eligibility test.
