NIT Recruitment 2024: Apply for faculty posts, salary upto Rs 1.59 lakh

The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur, West Bengal has invited applications for several faculty positions.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website at nitdgp.ac.in.

The last date for submission of online application is April 30 and the last date for receiving a hardcopy of the application is May 10.

• Assistant Professor: 37 posts

• Associate Professor: 5 posts

• Professor: 1 post

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply, candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree, Master’s Degree and have a PhD Degree in relevant discipline from recognised University.

Application Fee

The Candidate should pay a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs 1,500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates by SBI Collect as per the details given in the payment link. SC, ST, PWD & Female candidates need not to pay the application processing fee.

Pay Scale

• Assistant Professor Grade-II: Pay Level10 Rs 70,900

• Assistant Professor Grade-I: Pay Level 12 Rs 1,01,500 

• Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2 Rs 1,39,600

• Professor Pay Level 14A: Rs 1,59,100
