NIT Andhra Pradesh invites applications for 125 faculty positions, check details here

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Andhra Pradesh has released an official notification inviting application from eligible candidates to apply for the faculty positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.

Assistant Professor Grade-II: 48 Posts

Assistant Professor Grade-II: 20 Posts

Assistant Professor Grade-I: 20 Posts

Associate Professor: 30 Posts

Professor: 7 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Engineering Departments: Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, and Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, and PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline with first class in UG/PG. 

Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics: To be eligible, aspirants should possess a PhD degree in the relevant or equivalent discipline with first class in BSc/MSc degrees.

Management: Applicants should have PhD in Management with any Bachelor’s degree (3/4 years) and MBA or equivalent Master’s degree in Management or equivalent PGDM (2 years) as per Association of Indian Universities, or PhD in Management with integrated Master’s degree in Management. Candidates must have passed the relevant degree with first class.

Humanities: Candidates are required to possess a PhD in Humanities with any bachelor’s degree (3/4 years) and master’s degree in appropriate branch of Humanities or PhD in Humanities with integrated master’s degree in appropriate branch of Humanities with first class.

However, the minimum work experience required is varied across posts.

Selection Process

Candidates who are shortlisted for all the posts will be required to go through a series of selection criteria which includes teaching demonstration, research presentation using PPT, and interview.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 1000 as the intimation fee. However, candidates belonging to the categories of SC/ST/PWD are exempted from paying any fee. For Indian nationals paying from abroad are required to pay an amount of Rs 5000 across all categories. 

The application fee shall be paid only through online banking towards the State Bank of India with Account Number 37722875550, Satyavathi Nagar, Tadepalligudem Branch (IFSC SBIN0016305) on the name of The Director, NIT Andhra Pradesh.
