NIOS recruitment 2022: Apply for IT consultant, senior executive office posts, check details

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of consultant (IT) and senior executive officer posts.

As per the indicative advertisement issued by NIOS on November 21, one post of consultant (IT) and six posts of senior executive officer will be filled up through the recruitment drive.

The engagements will be on contract basis for a period of six months in NIOS and it can be extended as per the requirement and satisfactory performance of the candidates.

NIOS Vacancy Details

1. Consultant (IT): 1 post

Emolument (Consolidated per month): Rs 51,000

Educational Qualification: B.Tech/ M.Tech/MCA. 5 years experience in web application development and database management.

Age: Below 63 years

2. Senior Executive Officer (IT): 6 posts

Emolument (Consolidated per month): Rs 36,300

Educational Qualification: B.Tech/ M.Tech/MCA. 3 years experience in web application development and mobile app development. Age: Below 63 years

Other Details

The position is purely on contractual basis and can be extended on mutual consent. The candidate engaged will have to execute an agreement with NIOS.

The candidate engaged to this position shall not be part of the regular cadre nor would any special preferential treatment be given to such contractual staff in the matter of recruitment to regular post.

The candidate engaged shall have no vested right prior to and after the completion of the contract period to ask for regularization/absorption in NIOS.
