The New India Assurance Company Ltd (NIACL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Generalist and Specialist administrative officers in Scale I cadres.
Candidates who are interested in registering can check their eligibility and apply in the recruitment section of the company, link - www.newindia.co.in. The application process starts on September 10 and will conclude on September 29, 2024.

Generalists: Candidates applying for this position are required to possess a graduation or a Master’s degree in any stream from a recognised institute or University along with an aggregate score of 60%.
Specialists: The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant and have passed a graduation or Master’s degree from a recognised institute or University with an aggregate of 60% marks. Or, the candidate should possess an MBA degree in Finance/ PGDM Finance/ M.Com with min 60%.
The minimum age for applying is 21 years and the maximum age is 30 years. However, the upper age limit for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category is 5 years while for OBC is 3 years. However, for candidates belonging to the PwBD categories, the upper age limit is 10 years.
The selection process consists of various steps including a preliminary test and a main examination. The preliminary examination will comprise three subjects English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude carrying 100 marks in total. However, the main examination will comprise various subjects depending on the post for which a candidate is appearing. The main exam duration will be of 2.5 hours carrying an aggregate of 200 marks.
Both the examination will be conducted in online mode.
Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 850 while applying. However, candidates belonging to the categories of SC/ST/PwBD are required to pay an amount of Rs 100.
