NHPC Recruitment: Apply for posts with monthly salary up to Rs 1.6 lakh 

National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Trainee Engineers and Trainee Officers.

The registration process for recruitment began on Thursday. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post by visiting the official website of NHPC, i.e. nhpcindia.com.

The deadline to apply for the post is January 25.

• Trainee Engineer (Civil): 136

• Trainee Engineer (Electrical): 41

• Trainee Engineer (Mechanical): 108

• Trainee Officer (Finance): 99

• Trainee Officer (Human Resource): 14

• Trainee Officer (Law): 3

Educational Qualification

Interested aspirants should have full-time regular Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in relevant discipline - CA/PGDM/MBA/LLB from a recognised University/Institution.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxed as per government norms.

Application Fee

• UR/OBC/EWS category: Rs 295

• SC/ST category: Nil

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 50,000-3%- Rs 1,60,000 (IDA) (E2) during one year training period. 

On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineer/Officer in the same scale with a probation of one year. The total annual emoluments for the new recruits shall be approx. Rs 15 Lakh.
