National Museum of Natural History to engage artist, preparatory assistant

The National Museum of Natural History has invited online applications for recruitment of several posts on direct recruitment basis.

As per the advertisement, two posts of artist and preparatory assistant will be recruited.

Vacancy Details

1. Artist: 1 post

Age Limit: 18 years to 25 years

Pay Matrix: Level 5 (Rs 29200-92300)

Essential Qualification: Diploma in painting or commercial art or fine art or applied art from a recognised university or institution and two years’ experience in painting foregrounds, backgrounds, making charts, maps, lettering etc. Initial posting in New Delhi (with all India liability for transfer)

2.Preparatory Assistant (Display): 1 post

Age: 18 years to 25 years

Pay Matrix: Level 4 (Rs 25500-81100)

Essential Qualification: Matriculation or I.T.I course in painting (general) from a recognised vocational institution, three years’ experience in exhibition/display in a museum or institution. Initial posting in Bhopal (with all India liability for transfer)

Instructions: Separate applications need to be submitted for each post. Self-attested copies of educational/ reservation categories/ experience certificates etc, if any, should be enclosed with the application.
