Ministry Of Transport & Highways Recruitment: Apply For Technical Consultants Before Feb 18

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India has issued an advertisement for the engagement of two Technical Consultants for a period of two years.

The consultants will be recruited to provide technical support/advice to the Tunnel Zone of the Ministry.

After the expiry of the initial two years’ term, the engagement may be extended, based on requirement of Ministry and performance of Consultant(s) concerned, with the approval of competent authority, for a maximum period of one year beyond two years.

Vacancy Details:

Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engineering. Experience:

Essential: i. Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, designing, construction, maintenance and operation of Road Tunnels. ii. Good Knowledge of IRC Codes/Standard and Specification of Tunnel

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for Consultant shall be 65 years as on the last date of submission of application.

Remuneration and allowances:

Emoluments: The maximum amount of monthly consolidated remuneration payable to the Consultants shall be Rs. 70,000. Fee/Remuneration of consultant(s) will increase by 5% per annum.

Allowances: The Consultants shall not be entitled to any allowance/benefits such as Dearness Allowance, Transport Facility, Residential Accommodation, Personal Staff, CGHS, and Medical Reimbursement etc. However, Conveyance Allowance shall be paid at Rs 7,500 per month.
