The Ministry of Defence has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment to several posts in the offices of Defence Estates Organisation. 

The post carries All India Service Liability (AISL). So, candidates selected for the posts will be liable to serve anywhere in India.

The last date to apply for the posts is till January 15, 2022.

Total posts: 97 Posts

  • Junior Hindi Translator: 7 Posts
  • Sub Divisional Officer: 89 Posts
  • Hindi Typist: 1 Post

Educational Qualification

Junior Hindi Translator: Master’s degree of a recognised University in Hindi/English as a compulsory/ elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level.

Sub Divisional Officer/Hindi Typist: Matriculation pass from a recognised Board: Matriculation passed from a recognised institution. 

Age Limit

Candidates applying for Junior Hindi Translator should be between 18 and 30 years while candidates applying for Sub Divisional Officer and Hindi Typist should be 18 to 27 years.

How To Apply?

Applicants can download the application by visiting, https://www.dgde.gov.in/. After filing the application, they will have to post it to the “Principal Director, Defence Estates, Southern Command, Near ECHS Polyclinic, Kondhawa Road, Pune (Maharashtra) -411040”. The application must reach by 15 January (5pm).

Application Fee

The candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 to apply for the posts. However, women candidates and candidates belonging to reserved categories have been exempted from the payment of the application fee.

Selection Process

There will be no interview for the recruitment of the candidates to any of the posts. The eligible candidates will be selected through written and skill tests.

The written and skill test will be held at Pune/ Barrackpore Cantt (Kolkata)/ Delhi (NIDEM).
