Ministry Jobs: Vacancies Announced For Consultants, Salary Up To Rs 60K

Vacancies have been announced for the engagement of Consultants (Legal) in the Administration Division of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change.

As per the advertisement, Consultants (Legal) will be engaged and they will be entitled for payment of a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 60,000. The last date to apply for the posts is March 2022 

“The engagement of Consultants (Legal) is of a temporary (non-official) nature and can be cancelled at any time by the Ministry, without assigning any reason. MoEF&CC shall have powers to terminate any or all the Consultants (Legal) at any time without assigning any reason(s), with the approval of the Secretary, EF&CC,” the advertisement notice read.

Vacancy Details:

Consultant (Legal): 2 Posts

Remuneration: Rs 60,000 per month

Essential Qualification:

-Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) (or equivalent from a recognized University and/ or Institute in only) India, recognized by the Bar Council of India and having experience of more than three (03) years.

-Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India or any State Bar Council, under the provisions of the Advocates Act, 1961.

-Must be having experience in legal drafting.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for engagement of Consultants (Legal) shall be 65 years.

Annual Increment: The quantum of annual increment to Consultants (Legal) shall be between 0% to 8% in their remuneration, depending on quality of performance that may be determined judiciously by Divisional Head, on case to case basis.
