MeitY’s MyGov announces vacancies for social media content writers, video presenter, anchor

MyGov, a citizen engagement platform of Government of India and an independent business division under Digital India Corporation (a Section 8 company under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, is looking for content writer and video presenter/anchor for social media.

Vacancy Details

1. Social Media/Content Writer: 1 post

Qualification: Graduate/postgraduate in any discipline

Experience: 4-5years

Requirements Graduate/postgraduate in any discipline Proven work experience in a similar position at a communications/news agency/portal/channel Social sector/Govt/Policy

Thinktank experience is preferred, though advertising copywriters welcome to apply (at junior levels). Candidates should be very conversant with Video – ability to write scripts for Instagram Reels is a must.

2. Social Media/Content Writer: 1 post

Qualification: Graduate/postgraduate in any discipline

Experience: 1-3 years

3. Video Presenter/Anchor: 1 post

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Journalism, Communications or relevant field).

Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Professional News Anchor or a similar role.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Journalism, Communications or relevant field).

Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Professional News Anchor or a similar role. Ability to understand the news programs process. Ability to analyse and broadcast news coverage for both radio and television as and when required. Extensive knowledge of Indian culture, economy, and politics - national as well as regional.
