Junior Enforcement Officer and Junior Accountant preliminary exams; OSSC announces tentative dates 

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released an official notice declaring tentative dates for the preliminary examination of Junior Enforcement Officer and Junior Accountant – 2023.

The preliminary examination for Junior Enforcement Officer and Junior Accountant – 2023 is likely to be held in December 2024 or January 2025.

Examination Pattern

Preliminary Examination: As per the notification, if the number of valid applications surpasses 9000, then a test will be conducted either in OMR or Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode consisting of MCQs.

Main Written Examination: Candidates who clear the preliminary examination will be eligible to apply for the main written examination. The exam will be of 200 marks consisting questions in English and Odia languages and General Studies. 

Aspirants who clear the main written examination will be scheduled for a computer test for both the above-mentioned positions. However, candidates applying for the position of Junior Accountant will need to undergo a Mathematics test.

For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking.

Candidates opting for scribe will be allotted compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour. The scribe should not have the same academic qualifications as the applicant.
