The month of April seems to have come with plenty of employment opportunities for engineers. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for several vacant positions in CPCL, CECRI and NLC India Limited.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has invited applications from young, self-motivated and energetic persons of Indian Nationality for as many as 72 Junior Engineering positions.

Application Fee: General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1000 though Online mode (SBI e-pay)
using either Debit/ Credit Card or through Net-Banking only. The Bank Charges as applicable have to be borne by the candidates.

However, SC /ST / PwBD / ExSM / Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee for the CPCL recruitment 2022. 

No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. CPCL will not be responsible for non-receipt / bouncing back of any email sent to the candidate. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application fee, read the official notification.

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Karaikudi has released a Walk-in-Interview notification for the selection of suitable candidates on temporary positions and to be engaged as Project Associate, Junior Research Fellow and Junior Assistant.

Walk-in-Interview will be held on 05th – 07th April, 2021 at 09.30 AM (Reporting Time: 09.00 AM) at CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi. No candidate will be allowed to enter into the venue after 09:30 AM.

If the candidates are more, the candidates will be short-listed for the interview through a written test, read the official notification.

Similarly, NLC India Limited is looking for young and result oriented talents for recruitment to the posts of Graduate Executive Trainee (GET) using GATE-2022 scores for its Thermal Power Stations & Renewable Energy (Area-1 ) / Mines and Allied services (Area-2) located in Neyveli,(Tamil Nadu) Barsingsar (Rajasthan), Talabira (Odisha), South Pachwara (Jharkhand) and other locations of Solar / Wind Power Projects / Sites in Tamil Nadu and Andaman including its subsidiaries and joint ventures at Tuticorin (NTPL), Tamil Nadu, Ghatampur (NUPPL), Uttar Pradesh.

Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria:

- Candidates should have qualified in GATE 2022 Examination in the relevant GATE code
- GATE marks of GATE – 2022 will only be valid for this recruitment
- Candidates should have passed the notified Educational Qualification from a recognised university at the time of registration of application

Selection Procedure:

Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria as per the notification and qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) -2022 will be shortlisted based on the merit order of marks (out of 100) scored in (GATE) – 2022, ensuring due reservation for SC / ST / OBC(NCL) / EWS / PwBD.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document / Certificate Verification / Medical Examination. The list of candidates shortlisted for document/certificate verification and medical examination will be published on NLCIL website, www.nlcindia.in.

On successful completion of Document / Certificate Verification & Medical Examination, “Offer of Appointment" will be issued to the selected candidates, read the official notification.

Candidates must note that the Online application portal to apply will be active from 10:00 hours on 28/03/2022 to 17:00 hours on 11/04/2022.
