ITBP Recruitment 2021: Big Opportunity For Sportsperson To Apply For Constable Posts; Salary 7th CPC

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, ITBPF has invited applications for the recruitment of Sub Inspector, Head Constable and Constable.

The application process has begun yesterday and the last date to apply for the post is December 14, 2024.

Eligible and interested can apply for the vacancies on the official website at recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

ITBPF Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 526 posts

  • Sub-Inspector: 92 posts (78 male and 14 female)

  • Head Constable: 383 posts (325 male and 58 female)

  • Constable: 51 posts (44 male and 7 female)

Age Limit

Candidates aged 20-25 years as of December 14 can apply for SI vacancies, 18-25 years for Head Constables, and 18-23 years for Havaldar posts.

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply, candidates must have passed Class 10th/Class 12th/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline from recognized University or Institute.

Salary

  • For SI posts: Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400 (level 6)

  • For Head Constable: Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100 (level 4) 

  • For Constable: Rs 21,700 – Rs 69,100 (level 3)

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 200 for SI and Rs 100 for Constable and Head Constable vacancies. Women, ex-servicemen, SC, and ST category candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.

Physical Standard Test

Height 

  • Scheduled Tribes: Male: 162.5 cm, Female: 150 cm

  • Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates from specific regions: Male: 165 cm, Female: 155 cm

  • All Other States/UTs: Male: 170 cm, Female: 157 cm

Weight: Proportionate to height and age.

Basic Medical Standards

Eye Sight

  • Near Vision (Unaided): Better Eye: N6, Worse Eye: N9

  • Distant Vision (Uncorrected): Better Eye: 6/6, Worse Eye: 6/9

  • Refraction: Visual correction is not permitted for distant vision; glasses allowed for near vision only
