Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has published an official notification for the recruitment of Constable/Tradesman (Barber, Safai Karmchari, Gardener).

ITBP recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria 

Age Limit

The age limit for the role of Barber and Safai Karmchari varies between 18 years and 25 years. However, the age limit for the role of Gardener is varied between 18 years and 23 years.

Educational Qualification

Barber and Safai Karmchari: Should have passed the matriculation from a recognised board or equivalent exam. Candidates are also required to pass a practical departmental examination in the profession.

Gardener: Candidates should hold a matriculation certificate from a recognised board or equivalent examination. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years work experience from a recognized institute in the respective trade or a certificate from Industrial Training Institute or Vocational training with at least 1 year work experience or two years Diploma in the respective trade at Industrial Training Institute.

Physical Aspect

Candidates should have a Visual Acuity unaided (Near Vision) – Better Eye – N6, Worse Eye – N9, whereas, Uncorrected Visual Acuity (Distant Vision) – Better Eye – 6/6, Worse Eye – 6/9.

2. Written Examination

3. Trade Test
