ITBP announces vacancies under sports quota, salary as per 7th CPC; check details

Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has invited applications from meritorious sportspersons for recruitment to Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial posts.

The application process has already commenced on February 20 and the last date to submit the application form is March 21.

Total vacancy: 71 posts

• Male candidates: 45 posts

• Female candidates: 26 posts

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply for the post, interested candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from recognised Board.

Age Limit

The age of candidates shall be from 18 years to 23 years as on March 21, 2023.

Application Fee

• UR/OBC/EWS category: Rs 100

• SC/ST and Female candidates: Nil

Pay Scale

The monthly pay scale paid to selected candidates is Level – 3 which a minimum of Rs 21,700 – Rs 69,100 as per 7th CPC.

• Candidates Hailing in Categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belong to the State of Assa, Himachal Pradesh & Kashmir Region of UT Jammu & Kashmir & UT Ladakh: Male:165 cm, Female: 155 cm

• NE States: Male: 162.5 cm, Female: 152.5 cm

• All ST Candidates: Male: 162.5 cm, Female: 150 cm

• ST of NE States & Left Wing Extremism Effected Districts: Male: 157 cm, Female: 147.5 cm

Chest

• General Candidate: Unexpanded 80 cm, Expanded 85 cm

• Candidates Failing in Categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belong to the State of Assa, Himachal Pradesh & Kashmir Region of UT Jammu & Kashmir & UT Ladakh: Unexpanded 78 cm, Expanded 83 cm
