ITBP Recruitment
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has published a official notification for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) - Sports Quota in Group ‘C’ Vacancy.
The recruitment drive is likely to be carried out through open rally system.
Candidates can report on any of the day between October 5, 2023 and October 8, 2023 at the ITBP recruitment centre at 7 am.
UR Candidates: 55 posts
EWS Candidates: 15 posts
OBC Candidates: 42 posts
SC Candidates: 13 posts
Candidates must have passed Matriculation from recognised Board or Institute.
The age of the candidates must be between 18 years and 23 years as on August 1, 2023.
Height Requirements
General Candidates: Male - 170 cm, Female - 157 cm
Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and those from Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir Region of UT Jammu & Kashmir, and UT Ladakh: Male - 165 cm, Female - 155 cm
Northeastern States: Male - 162.5 cm, Female - 152.5 cm
All ST Candidates: Male - 162.5 cm, Female - 150 cm
ST Candidates from Northeastern States and Left Wing Extremism Effected Districts: Male - 157 cm, Female - 147.5 cm
Chest Measurements
General Candidates: Unexpanded - 80 cm, Expanded - 85 cm
Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and those from Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir Region of UT Jammu & Kashmir, and UT Ladakh: Unexpanded - 78 cm, Expanded - 83 cm
Northeastern States: Unexpanded - 77 cm, Expanded - 82 cm
All ST Candidates: Unexpanded - 76 cm, Expanded - 81 cm
ST Candidates from Northeastern States and Left Wing Extremism Effected Districts: Unexpanded - 76 cm, Expanded - 81 cm
Eye Sight Requirements
Minimum distance vision should be 6/6 for both eyes, without the use of spectacles or lenses.
For the recruitment drive, candidates must reach 5th Bn, ITB Police, Choglamsar, Leh on the above mentioned date at proper time.
