ISRO Recruitment 2023: Apply for Technician, Draughtsman posts; check eligibility and more details

Indian Space Research Organisation has published an official notification for the recruitment of Technician 'B' and Draughtsman ‘B’ posts.

The application process is underway and the last date to submit the application form is August 21. 

Interested candidates can apply online at www.isro.gov.in.

Total Vacancy: 35 posts

• Technician ‘B’ (Fitter): 4 posts

• Technician ‘B’ (Machinist): 1 post

• Technician ‘B’ (Electronics): 15 posts

• Technician ‘B’ (Information Technology): 5 posts

• Technician ‘B’ (ICTSM/ITESM): 5 posts

• Technician ‘B’ (Electrician): 1 post

• Draughtsman ‘B’ (Mechanical): 1 post

• Technician ‘B’ (Chemical): 1 post

• Technician ‘B’ (Turner): 1 post

• Technician ‘B’ (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning): 1 post

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Matriculation and should poses ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trade.

Age Limit

The candidate's age should be between 18 years and 35 years as on August 21, 2023.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates are likely to be paid Rs 21,700 – Rs 69,100.

In addition, Dearness Allowances (DA), House Rent Allowances (HRA) and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules on the subject. The employees will be governed by the National Pension System. Further, medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidised canteen, quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, House Building Advance etc. are admissible as per Central Government orders.

Application Fee

Initially, all candidates have to uniformly pay Rs 500 as an application fee. Candidates belonging to fee-exempted categories will be refunded the full fee.

Other candidates will be refunded Rs 400 after retaining the application fee of Rs 100.
