ISRO recruitment 2022: Opportunity for Degree, Diploma, ITI students; check details

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad has invited applications for selection to the positions of Graduate and Technician Apprentices.

Candidates who have Degree/Diploma from a government recognised University/Board/Institute coming under Western Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (UTS).

For Trade Apprentice, candidates with ITI / NTC qualification from a recognised institute of Gujarat can apply.

Age Limit: The upper age limit to apply for the positions is 35 years as on 09/10/2022. There is relaxation is age limit by 03 years in case of OBC and 05 years in case of SC, ST candidates. 

Important to Note

The period of training will be one year and apprentices engaged will be registered under Apprentice Act, 1961.

Those who have undergone/are undergoing Apprenticeship training or have job experience for a period of one year or more as on the date of joining as Apprentice are not eligible to be considered for the above Apprenticeship training.
“The apprentices will have no claim whatsoever for employment in Space Applications Centre or any other units of Indian Space Research Organisation / Department of Space after completion of the training period,” read the official notification.

The last date for submission of application for Graduate and Technician Apprentices is October 9, 2022.
