Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has published the engagement of Apprentices wherein eligible candidates are invited to apply online at iocl.com - the official website of IOCL.

This recruitment process will cater to the requirements of 456 apprentices in the organization.

Application registration is being done from January 24, 2025 and till February 13, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification varies as per the discipline, and one can refer to the detailed notification provided on the IOCL website for specific requirements. 

As on 31 January 2025, the age limit for applicants should lie between 18 and 24 years.

For candidates who are in the PwBD category, the age could be relaxed to up to 10 years. For SC/ST candidates, age relaxation may be given up to 15 years, while OBC-NCL candidates can have up to 13 years relaxation.

Selection Process

Those who are registered at the NAPS/NATS portal and apply as a response to this notification would get selected. There will neither be any written test nor interview for selection.

A merit list will be prepared for all applicants who satisfy the eligibility criteria, based on the percentage of marks obtained in their prescribed qualifications for the respective posts. 

Those candidates who pass the document verification and pre-engagement medical fitness will be considered suitable for engagement and will be offered Apprenticeship Training.

Apprenticeship Training

Apprenticeship Training:  The Apprenticeship Training would be for a duration of 12 months for all disciplines. Importantly, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship training, the Corporation shall not be liable to employ the apprentices and the apprentices cannot claim right for employment based on the successful completion of the training.
