The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced openings for Apprentice positions.
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications via the official IOCL website, iocl.com.
The registration window is active from October 21 to November 20, 2023.
Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): 35 posts
Trade Apprentice (Fitter): 5 posts
104 Technician Apprentice (Chemical): 40 posts
105 Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 15 posts
Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 30 posts
Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 15 posts
Trade Apprentice (Secretarial Assistant): 9 posts
Trade Apprentice - Accountant: 3 posts
Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices): 3 posts
Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): 3 posts
Candidates applying must have the required qualifications for Class XII, Graduation, or Diploma from a recognised Board, University, or Institute, following a regular full-time course in the relevant trade or discipline.
A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required (with a relaxation to 45% for SC/ST and PwBD category candidates applying for reserved seats).
The age criteria for General/EWS candidates range from a minimum of 18 years to a maximum of 24 years as of October 31, 2023. Upper age limit relaxation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates will be granted in accordance with government guidelines.
The selection process consists of a written test, which will include Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four answer options, of which one is correct. To qualify for the selection process, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the written test. For additional information, candidates are advised to visit the official IOCL website.
