Indian Statistical Institute recruitment: Apply for research associate posts

The Indian Statistical Institute, an autonomous body funded by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, has invited applications for the engagement of research associates.

As per the advertisement, three posts of research associates will be engaged on temporary basis in the Applied Statistics Division.

Details:

Research Associates: 3 posts

Qualification: Ph.D with research work in statistics/biostatistics/cryptology/econometrics and related areas. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their Ph.D from organisations other than ISI in the last two years.

Pay: A consolidated honorarium between Rs 47,000 and Rs 54,000 per month depending upon the post doctoral experience.

Tenure of appointment: The tenure of appointment will be initially upto March 31, 2023 from the date of joining which may be extended/terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds and performance of the candidate.

Based on the performance of the candidate, the term of the research associate can be extended upto a maximum of two years.

Age: The upper age limit shall be 35 years as on June 1, 2022 with usual relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/differenty abled candidates.
