Indian Railways Recruitment: Apply for over 3000 apprentice posts

West Central Railway (WCR) is accepting applications for Apprentice positions. 

Eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their applications online through the official WCR website at wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. 

The registration window opens on December 15 and concludes on January 14, 2024.

• JBP Division: 1164 posts

• BPL Division: 603 posts

• KOTA Division: 853 posts

• CRWS BPL: 170 posts

• WRS KOTA: 196 posts

• HQ/JBP: 29 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates are required to have successfully completed the 10th class examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 examination system, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. Additionally, they should hold the National Trade Certificate in the specified trade, issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Age Limit

Applicants must be at least 15 years old as of December 14, 2023, and should not exceed 24 years of age as of the cut-off date mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

The selection process will involve creating a merit list that considers all eligible candidates applying for the notification. This list will be compiled based on the average marks obtained in the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system), in addition to the marks obtained in ITI/Trade.

Application Fee

The application fee for all candidates is Rs 136, while for SC, ST, PwBD, and Women candidates, the fee is Rs 36.
