Indian Railways Recruitment: Apply for 295 Apprentice posts, check details

Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW) has issued a recruitment notification for Apprentice positions. 

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications via the official PLW website at plwindianrailways.gov.in. 

This recruitment campaign aims to occupy 295 positions within the organisation. 

The registration process commenced on October 9, 2023, and is scheduled to conclude on October 31, 2023.

PLW Recruitment Details

• Electrician: 140 posts

• Mechanic (Diesel): 40 posts

• Machinist: 15 posts

• Fitter: 75 posts

• Welder: 25 posts

Educational Qualification

Applicants interested in these positions should possess a minimum of 50 percent marks in their 10+2 examinations.

Age Limit

The minimum age requirement for applicants should be at least 15 years.

Application Fee

All applicants applying for the post are required to submit a processing fee of Rs 100, which must be paid through online mode. 

Stipend

• First year of training: Rs 7,000 

• Second year of training: Rs 7,700 

• Third year of training: Rs 8,050
