Indian Navy Recruitment: Apply for 275 Apprentices posts, check details

The Naval Dockyard, Vishakhapatnam, has issued a call for applications for the recruitment of Trade Apprentices by the Indian Navy. 

Eligible candidates who are interested in applying can submit their applications online via the official website www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. 

The deadline for application submission is January 1, 2024.

• Sheet Metal Worker: 33 posts

• Carpenter: 27 posts

• Mechanic: 23 posts

• Pipe Fitter: 23 posts

• Electrician: 21 posts

• Painter: 16 posts

• R & A/C Mechanic: 15 posts

• Welder: 15 posts

• Machinist: 12 posts

• Instrument Mechanic: 10 posts

• Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance: 6 posts

• Foundryman: 5 posts

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have successfully completed SSC/Matric/Std X with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Additionally, candidates should possess an ITI (NCVT/SCVT) qualification with a minimum aggregate of 65%. Candidates who graduated during the Covid-19 pandemic and hold certificates without marks/grade points/pass percentage will be considered eligible separately for participating in the written examination, provided they meet other eligibility criteria.

Age Limit

The minimum age requirement is 14 years, while for hazardous occupations, the minimum age is 18 years. There is no upper age limit for apprenticeship training.
