Indian Navy Recruitment 2024: Apply For Chargeman and other posts, check eligibility details

The Indian Navy has released a notification for the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET-01/2023), inviting applications for the recruitment of Chargeman, Senior Draughtsman, and Tradesman Mate Vacancies. 

The application process is currently underway and will continue until December 31.

Total Vacancy: 910 posts

Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted, Industrial, Non-Ministerial)

• Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop): 22 posts

• Chargeman (Factory): 20 posts

• Senior Draughtsman (Electrical): 142 posts

• Senior Draughtsman (Mechanical): 26 posts

• Senior Draughtsman (Construction): 29 posts

• Senior Draughtsman (Cartographic): 11 posts

• Senior Draughtsman (Armament): 50 posts

Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Industrial)

• Tradesman Mate: 610 posts

Educational Qualification

To be eligible to apply, candidates must have passed Matriculation, Diploma ir Degree in relavant discipline from recognised board, institute or University.

Age Limit

The age eligibility criteria for the posts of Chargeman and Tradesman Mate is 18 years and 25 years, while for the Draughtsman posts, the age limit is 18 years and 27 years as of the crucial date.

Application Fee

The application fee for all candidates, except SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates, is Rs 295. 

The payment can be made through online mode using net banking or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or UPI.

• Navigate to the "Join Navy" section

• Select "Ways to Join" and then choose "Civilians"

• Click on the link for INCET-01/2023

• Follow the instructions to upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format and size

• Review the completed form carefully

• Make the required fee payment through the online mode using net banking or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or UPI

• Download the filled application form

• Take a printout of the form for future reference
