Indian Navy Recruitment 2023: Over 200 posts announced, check eligibility criteria 

Indian Navy has published a notification for the recruitment of SSC Officer vacancy. 

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

The application process will begin on April 29 and the last date to apply for the post is May 14.

Indian Navy Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 242 posts

• SSC Officer (Executive Branch): 150 posts

• SSC Officer (Education Branch): 12 posts

• SSC Officer (Technical Branch): 80 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have graduated/post-graduated or obtained a degree in Engineering are eligible to apply for the posts.

Pay Scale

The basic pay of SLt starts from Rs 56,100 along with other allowances as applicable.

Probation Period 

The probation period for SSC (NAIC) Officers is three years and for officers of other branches/cadres is two years. 

The probation period will commence from the date of grant of the rank of Sub Lt and will terminate after three years for SSC(NAIC) and two years for other branches/cadres or on completion of initial training (whichever is later). 

During probation, the officers are liable to be discharged in case of unsatisfactory performance at any stage.
