Indian Army TGC 140 recruitment notification out, apply for 30 posts

The Indian Army has released a notification for 140th Technical Graduate Course (TGC) commencing in January 2025.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts via www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

The application process has already commenced and the last date to apply for the post is May 9, 2024.

Total Vacancy: 30 posts

• Civil: 7 posts

• Computer Science: 7 posts

• Electrical: 3 posts

• Electronics: 4 posts

• Mechanical: 7 posts

• Misc Engg Streams: 2 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of an engineering degree program are eligible to apply. Final-year students must provide proof of passing their engineering degree exams along with all semester/year marksheets by January 1, 2025, and obtain their degree certificate within 12 weeks of starting training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA). 

These candidates will be admitted on an Additional Bond Basis to cover training costs at IMA. Failure to produce the required degree certificate may result in recovery of training costs and forfeiture of stipends and allowances.

Age Limit

The age limit is between 20 years and 27 years as of January 1, 2025. Candidates must have been born between January 2, 1998, and January 1, 2005, inclusive of both dates.
