The Indian Air Force has invited applications for the recruitment of Airmen. Interested candidates are advised to reach the respective location between January 29 and February 4, 2025.
The Recruitment Test will be held at Maharaja's College Ground, PT Usha Road, Shenoys, Ernakulam, Kochi, Kerala-682011.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from education boards recognized by the Central Government, State Governments, and Union Territories, achieving a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and at least 50% in English.
OR
Candidates should have completed a two-year Vocational Course that includes non-vocational subjects—specifically Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English—from education boards recognized by the Central Government, State Governments, and Union Territories, also with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
Candidates holding a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy must have passed the Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. Additionally, they must possess a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, along with valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrollment, which is a mandatory requirement.
Medical Standards
Height Requirement: Minimum 152 cm.
Refractive Error: Not exceeding +3.50D, including astigmatism.
Visual Acuity: 6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/6.
Colour Vision: Must meet mandatory standards (CP-II).
General Physical/Medical Standards
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Chest: Minimum circumference of 77 cm, with a 5 cm expansion.
Hearing: Able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters in each ear.
Dental Health: Healthy gums, good teeth, with a minimum of 14 dental points.
General Health: Fit for Air Force duty, without deformities or medical disabilities, and must be physically and mentally fit for various climates and terrains.
