Indian Air Force has invited applications for IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment.
The application process is likely to begin on January 7 and will end on January 27, 2025.
Candidates interested to apply for the posts can do it through the official website of IAF Agniveervayu at agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
Science Subjects
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English from recognized Education Boards of Central/State/UT Governments with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Having done Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology) from a recognized Polytechnic institute - Central, State, or UT - with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English was not one of the subjects in the Diploma Course).
Having passed a two year's Vocational Course that comprise of non-vocational subjects like Physics and Maths from recognized Education Boards that include Central, State or UT with at least 50% marks in the aggregate and 50% in the English in the Vocational Course or in Intermediate or Matriculation if his own language was not taught him as a subject in Vocational Course.
Other than Science Subjects
Candidates must meet one of the qualification conditions: 1. She/He shall have passed Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream of subjects from a recognized Board of Education of Central/State and UT with minimum aggregate 50% and at least 50% in English. 2. Have passed at least a two-year Vocational Course from recognized Education Boards (Central, State and UT) with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50 % marks in English in the Vocational Course or in Intermediate /Matriculation if English was not a subject in the Vocational Course.
Candidates who want to apply should be born between January 1, 2005 to July 1, 2008. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years.
There are three phases of the exam- Phase I, II and III. Phase I is a written test for all candidates. II 28. Immediately after the declaration of the result of Phase-I (Online) Test, a cut off will be applied on normalized marks obtained by the candidate in the Phase-I Test and state-wise short listed candidates will have to attend Phase 2. Phase 3 is the medical test. Candidates who clear phase 2 get eligible to attend phase 3.
All applicants willing to apply for the post need to pay examination fee of ₹550/- plus GST online at the time of registering for the online examination. The payment may be made through Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking through payment gateway. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions/ steps given on the payment gateway and also print/ keep the transaction details for their records.
