The Indian Air Force has begun online registration for Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2026 under the Agnipath scheme. Eligible candidates can apply at agnipathvayu.cdac.in from July 11 to July 31, 2025.
The recruitment offers a four-year tenure in the Air Force, with a possibility of regular absorption based on performance. This is a significant opportunity for young Indian men and women to serve the country in the defence sector.
For the Science stream, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. Alternatively, a three-year diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 50% overall and 50% in English is also accepted.
For the Non-Science stream, applicants should have completed 10+2 in any subject with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, or a two-year vocational course meeting the same mark requirements.
Candidates must be aged between 17.5 and 21 years at the time of enrolment, with their date of birth falling between July 2, 2005, and January 3, 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Physical standards include a minimum height of 152.5 cm, proportionate weight and chest measurements, and normal vision and hearing as per Air Force norms.

Fill in personal, academic, and contact details
Upload required documents including passport-size photo, signature, left thumb impression, and Class 10 & 12/Diploma certificates
Pay the application fee of Rs 550 + GST via online payment methods. Submit the form and download the confirmation page
The selection procedure includes an online test, physical fitness test, and medical examination.
Admit cards for the online test is likely to be released 2–3 days before the exam. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with valid ID proof to the exam centre.
