India Post recruitment: Apply for skilled artisans posts in 7th CPC scale, check details

The Department of Posts, under the Ministry of Communication, has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill up several skilled artisans posts of Group C category (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial).

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts offline by sending their application through speed post or registry post before August 1, 2022.

Candidates need to send their duly filled application along with necessary supporting documents to the below mentioned address-  The Manager, Mail Motor Service, Goods Shed Road, Coimbatore- 641001.

• MV Mechanic: 2 posts
• MV Electrician- 1 post
• Welder: 1 post
• Carpenter- 1 post
• Tyreman- 1 post
• Copper & Tinsmith- 1 post

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get a monthly pay of Rs 19,900-Rs 63,200 along with admissible allowances.

Age Limit: Candidate belonging to UR and EWS category must be between 18 to 30 years as on 1 July 2021. However, SC and OBS candidates will get 05 and 03 years age relaxation respectively. 

Selection Method: Selection of Skilled Artisans shall be made from amongst the candidates possessing the requisite qualification by means of Competitive Trade Test on the basis of syllabus in the respective trade.
