The Department of Post has released a fresh notification inviting applications online for Direct Recruitment of meritorious sportspersons from open market under Sports Quota for several posts in Telangana Postal Circle.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions on or before September 24, 2021.

1. Postal Assistant (PA) in Post Offices
2. Sorting Assistant (SA) in Railway Mail Service (RMS) Offices
3. Postman in Post Offices
4. Mail Guard (MG) in Railway Mail Service (RMS) Offices
5. MTS in Post Offices / RMS Offices / Postal Accounts Office

Scale Of Pay and Age Limit

Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Rs.25,500– to Rs.81,100 - in Level-4 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part-A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 plus admissible allowances.

Candidates applying need to be between 18 and 27 years. There is age relaxation by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

Postman / Mail Guard: Rs.21,700– to Rs.69,100- in Level-3 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part-A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 plus admissible allowances.

Between 18 and 27 years is the age limit for the above posts with relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs.18,000- to Rs.56,900- in Level-1 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part-A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 plus admissible allowances.

One should be 18 to apply for the posts and not more than 25 years. Age ralaxation - 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

Educational Qualification:

Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education

Postman: Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education. Knowledge of local language, Telugu is needed. Candidate should have studied local language as a subject i.e. Telugu at least up to 10th standard.

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 10th standard pass from a recognised Board. Knowledge of local language, Telugu is needed so, they should have studied local language as a subject i.e. Telugu at least up to 10th standard.
