The Department of Posts on Wednesday announced vacancies for class 10 and 12 pass students in Jharkhand circle. Applications have been sought for the Direct Recruitment of meritorious sportspersons from open market under Sports Quota.
Through the recruitment drive, India Post will fill up the vacancies of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Postman and MTS Cadre under the Sports Quota in the Jharkhand Postal circle.

Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant:
Educational Qualification: 12th standard pass from a recognised board.

Pay Scale: Rs 25,500 to Rs 81000 in Level-4 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances.
Age Limit: Between 18-27 years (candidates born not before 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2003).
Postman/Mail Gourd:
Educational Qualification: 12th standard pass from a recognised board.
Pay Scale: Rs 21,7001 to Rs 69100 in Level-3 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances.
Age Limit: Between 18-27 years (candidates born not before 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2003).
Multi-Tasking Staff:
Educational Qualification: 10th standard pass from a recognised board.
Pay Scale: Rs 18,000 to Rs 56900 in Level-1 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances.
Age Limit: Between 18-25 years (candidates born not before 02.01.1996 and not later than 0l.01.2003)
Important Date: Applications can be submitted for the India Post jobs till November 25, 2021. Candidates should apply without waiting for the last date to avoid the last-hour rush.
