IIT recruitment 2022: Apply for over 110 posts, check eligibility and selection process

IIT Kanpur has released a fresh recruitment notification inviting applications from candidates for the post of Junior Assistant. Interested and eligible can visit the official website of IIT Kanpur or go through the details of the IIT jobs given below.

The application submission for the recruitment will continue till November 9, 2022. Candidates need to apply without waiting for the deadline to avoid heavy load on server or technical glitches that often happen on the last day of submission of application.

IIT Kanpur is an Institute of national importance declared as such under the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961, to provide for education and research in various branches of engineering, technology, science and arts. The Institute is in search of suitable Indian Nationals for appointment of Junior Assistant on regular basis, read the official notification.

Candidates will be appointed on a one year probation period which may be extended based on assessment of performance of the selected candidates.

IIT Recruitment 2022 Vacancy Details

Name of Post: Junior Assistant

Through this recruitment drive, IIT Kanpur will fill up a total of 119 posts- 15 (SC), 2 (ST), 34 (OBC), 6 (PwD), 11 (EWS) 51 (UR).

Age Limit

Candidates applying need to be between 21 to 30 years of age. The age shall be reckoned as on the closing date of online application- November 11, 2022.

Educational Qualification

Candidates need to have Bachelor’s Degree with knowledge of computer applications to apply for the recruitment in IIT Kanpur.

Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks and 02 years of relevant experience in handling Establishment matters/ R&D/ Legal/ Purchase and Import/ Accounts/ Audit/Hospitality, etc.

Selection Process

The selection process may consist of Written test and job oriented practical test and any other mode of selection as per the rules.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Written/Job Oriented Practical Test for the post.

- The Institute reserves its right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for necessary selection process based on higher parameters over and above the essential qualification.

- Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement can be instituted in Kanpur, and courts/ tribunals/ forums at Kanpur (UP) only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause/ disputes.
