IIT Palakkad Recruitment: Apply for Group B and Group C posts, check eligibility criteria 

The Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad has opened applications for Group B and Group C posts. 

The application process is currently in progress, and candidates have until November 3 to submit their applications.

• Junior Technical Superintendent (Group B): 9 posts

• Junior Superintendent (Group B): 6 posts

• Horticulture Assistant (Group B): 1 post

• Assistant Security Officer (Group B): 1 post

• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) (Group C): 5 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10th/Class 12th/Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from recognised University/Institute.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for Group B posts should not exceed 32 years of age, while for Group C posts, the maximum age limit is 40 years.

Pay Scale

• Junior Technical Superintendent (Group B): Level 6 (Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400)

• Junior Superintendent (Group B): Level 6 (Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400)

• Horticulture Assistant (Group B): Level 6 (Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400)

• Assistant Security Officer (Group B): Level 6 (Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400)

• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): (Group C) Level 1 (Rs 18,000 – Rs 56,900)

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 200. However, candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and women candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
